Ellijay cabin
This cabin was built in 2010. It is a very small cabin, about 500 square feet. It is situated for passive solar heat gain in the winter. In the summer, the deep overhang as well as the shade from the tree canopy keep the cabin cool. It has spray foam insulation and an efficient heat pump. The siding is locally milled pine, and the floors are reclaimed heart pine.
